Audrey P. Willis, Candidate for Arkansas State Representative, District 35

Tech Leader.  Community Builder.

Proud Daughter of Arkansas

Audrey P. Willis is running for State Representative in Arkansas District 35 with a clear mission: to bring bold innovation, fearless leadership, and real opportunity back home to the communities that built her.

Audrey is a proud product of perseverance.  Her family’s legacy began in Parkin, AR, where her great-grandfather, Brooks Coffee, moved to start his family before being drafted to serve in World War I.  Both of her grandparents, Samuel Lee and Robbie (Bell) Coffee, were born and married in Parkin.  After serving in World War II as a member of the United States Marines, Samuel moved his family to Memphis, TN.    drey P. Willis was born and raised here in the south and returned to Arkansas in 2015 to raise her sons, Cameron and Timothy, with her husband, Timothy W. Willis (of Luxora, AR).    With her family rooted in faith, she turned challenge into purpose and purpose into power.    Today, she’s a globally recognized leader in technology, education, and community innovation. She’s the Co-Founder and Chief Innovation & Programming Officer at CodeCrew, where she’s helped over 15,000 youth and adults across the Mid-South gain access to life-changing skills in technology, coding, and entrepreneurship.

Audrey isn’t your typical candidate, and she’s not interested in politics as usual. She’s a first-generation technologist, an AI ethics expert, and a 2023 USA Obama Leader who has built her career by breaking down barriers and building bridges. She’s served in government as Shelby County’s first Manager of Innovation and Performance, in business at companies like FedEx and AutoZone, and in the community every single day.

Whether she’s hosting her radio show “(AI) Actual Intelligence with Audrey” on 88.5FM or inspiring the next generation through her “Micro Bit Monday” tech segments on WREG, Audrey leads with clarity, compassion, and the courage to speak truth to power.

Now, she’s bringing that same energy to the Arkansas State Capitol.    Audrey is running to ensure that every zip code in District 35, not just a few, has access to quality education, job training, digital infrastructure, and a government that works for everyone.

Because the future is here, and District 35 deserves to lead it.
